Platinum is the highest category of the Dr. N. Apparao Family Security Scheme 2.0. These members held both FSS 2.0FBSXls and FBS membership at the time of merger on 05 January 2025, making them eligible for the combined cumulative benefit of both schemes.

Member Donation Obligations
When a claim event occurs, active members contribute to the donation pool.

Who Can Join PLATINUM?
PLATINUM is a closed category — new enrollment is not open. It comprises merged members only.
Eligible Members
Doctors who held both FSS 2.0FBSXls and FBS membership at the time of merger on 05 Jan 2025, and who were below the age limit at that date.
Not Open for New Enrollment
PLATINUM is not available for fresh enrollment. New members joining FSS 2.0FBSXls are placed in the PREMIUM (PR) category.
Enrollment age limit was 56 years (until 31 Dec 2025).
From 01 Jan 2026, the age limit is sealed at 45 years for all new enrollments across categories.
