Lifelong cover
Fraternity strength

The sole strength of the Scheme is Membership strength! Your unwavering commitment is our strength, and we request you to further your commitment by enrolling more members — kith & kin, associates in the vicinity, classmates elsewhere who can join are few examples.

The Core Difference

FSS 2.0FBSXls is Savings + Coverage. Not just Insurance.

Term Insurance is not a comprehensive Life cover — it ends at a specific timeline. Hence it is also not saving! Dr. N. Apparao FSS 2.0FBSXls is fundamentally different: it provides lifelong coverage, builds value continuously, and the benefit is paid to the nominee whenever the member passes away — there is no expiry.

Why Choose IMA APPA FSS — Your Questions Answered

Answers to the most common questions from our members.

IMA APPA FSS is a fraternity-based mutual security scheme run by and for IMA Andhra Pradesh doctors, not a profit-making insurer. Members contribute to a common fund and the family of a deceased member receives the pooled benefit. There are no agent commissions or profit margins, which keeps contributions low and benefits transparent.
Membership is open to qualified doctors who are members of the Indian Medical Association, Andhra Pradesh state branch. Eligibility and age limits depend on the chosen scheme tier — Platinum, Premier or Primary.
Because the scheme is administered directly by the fraternity, verified claims are processed quickly, typically once the required documents (death certificate, nominee proof and claim form) are submitted and verified by the office.
Missed contributions attract a defined late fee and, after the cut-off period, may move a member to defaulter status. Members are notified by SMS and email before due dates so payments can be made on time through the member portal.
Yes. Every member gets a secure portal account to view scheme details, pay contributions online, track payment history, update nominee information and raise service requests.
